ABOUT

DESIGN AS ART AND ARCHITECTURE

My name is Jirui (Ryan) Han, an undergraduate at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Interactive Media Arts and pursuing a double major in Computer Science.

I approach UI/UX design as both art and architecture: crafting interfaces that are intuitive, poetic, and deeply rooted in human behavior. With expertise across Interactive Media Arts and Computer Science, I merge technical precision with creative exploration, guided by a passion for AI.

For me, design is not decoration but narrative: each interaction is a story that can spark curiosity, build connection, and transform how people experience technology.

PERSPECTIVES

SYSTEMS, DETAILS, STORIES

I draw inspiration from photography, aviation, and expository writing — each teaching me to see systems, details, and stories from new perspectives. These passions sharpen both my creative and analytical lens, shaping how I design experiences that are clear, expressive, and human-centered.
